ABOUT GENEVA LOPEZ - LCMHC, LCAS
Geneva knows how uncomfortable it can feel to reach out for mental health or substance abuse help, so when individuals take that step, she's honored when they choose to work with her. She is laid-back in her approach, but uses an eclectic mix of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy to help Clients reach the goals they set for themselves.
She enjoys working with individuals from all walks of life, but has extensive experience helping people cope with depression and anxiety, helping individuals work towards sobriety, and assisting individuals in learning how to set healthy boundaries in their lives.
Geneva has a M.A. in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS).
Geneva is a bookworm who loves nothing more than to get lost in a work of fiction. She likes to keep her children humble by winning Mario Kart races against them as much as possible and enjoys exploring new places with her family.
