ABOUT BRITTANY NICHOLS - LCSWA
Brittany knows how difficult it can be to reach out for mental health issues, and commends anyone for taking the first step of even looking for ways to get better! She believes mental health is just as important as physical health, and would love to help you reach your optimal level of wellness.
Brittany has experience working directly with individuals with behavioral and developmental disabilities, hospice care, and school-based therapy. She particularly enjoys working one on one with children and their families, and is constantly researching ways of improving her skills in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Play Therapy, among others. She obtained her Masters in Social Work from the University of North Carolina Charlotte and an undergraduate degree in Human Services from Gardner-Webb University. She is currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate.
During her free time, Brittany can almost always be found with her nose in a book and her dog on her lap. She also enjoys crafting, particularly cross stitch and knitting, and enjoys spending time with her husband, friends, and family.
