Greenwood Counseling Center is a private practice in Mooresville, NC offering individual, family, and couples counseling for all ages. Our licensed therapists serve the Lake Norman area in person and virtually across North Carolina.
Counseling Services We Offer
Our therapists use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Play Therapy to help clients build coping skills and reach their goals.

- Couples and Marriage Counseling to improve communication and strengthen relationships
- Family Therapy to address family conflict, co-parenting, and family dynamics
- Child and Adolescent Counseling for ages 5 and up, including ADHD, behavioral issues, school stress, peer relationships, autism, and Asperger’s syndrome
- Play Therapy for younger children ages 5 to 10

We accept most major insurance plans including BlueCross and BlueShield (including Blue Value), Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Optum, UMR, Medcost, and Blue Home Novant. Private pay and out-of-network options are also available.
